PURE UTZ
Pura Utz is a collaboration between Bernabela in Guatemala and Pura Utz's Danish manager Anna Waller Andrés. When Anna, the creative director and creator, established Pura Utz, it was her dream to work for the Mayan women with the skills they have. For many years, Anna made Guatemala her second home. Since visiting the country for the first time at the age of 11, she has traveled a lot to Guatemala , in her work as a teacher and nurse. Through Pura Utz, Anna is living out her dream, a life in close relationship with Guatemala and the women she has met there.
The beautiful jewelry from Pura Utz is handmade in Guatemala by Mayan women who, through Pura Utz, have a full-time job that gives them freedom, self-confidence and not least a well functioning work environment .
